Here you'll find everything I used while making this website and my collage artworks
Web Development
- Petrapixel's Layout Generator Huge shoutout to Petrapixel I could not have done this without her amazingly helpful tool. If you're looking for an easy way to start working on your website I cannot reccomend her generator enough. Everything is copy and paste so you can see what changes in the code while you're tweaking the settings; I genuinely learned so much just from trial and error here.
- W3 Schools HTML and CSS libraries W3 Schools has a massive web development library and tutorial section that are super easy to navigate. Plus, most entries have a hands-on section where you can preview specific elements with their code side-by-side.
- Free Guestbook Here's where I got my guestbook from, they'll host it for free and without any adds!
Internet Ephemera
- Re:source ring A Webring Collective of a bunch of sites you can download stuff off of. They've also got a number of tutorials, and linked websites are bound to have even more links within them to outside sources.
- Cyber.dabamos 88x31 GIF collection Collection of a bunch of old-web 88x31 buttons. You can find a whole lotta fun things here for your own projects, but it's also amazing to just scroll through and take in the history of it.
- Lazer-Bunny Lazer-Bunny's graphics collection, both original and sourced elsewhere, organized by type. Bonus: most graphics are sourced back to where they came from!
- Pixel Safari Website dedicated entirely to graphics and sorted by category.
Collage Elements
- Salvaged Scans, Textures, Icons, Photographs, Bush Packs, and more all salvaged from abandoned websites and available for download. You can sort by a wide array of tags to find exactly the kind of thing you're looking for.
- Texturelabs Here's a number of free textures for download. They have overlays and cool photos, plus a category system that makes looking for what you want simpler. Not the most expansive site but it's free and high quality.
- Archive.org You probably already know this place, but just in case you havent heard, the Internet Archive is a huge project dedicated to saving all kinds of things. They're the people responsible for the Wayback Machine, but they have a lot of cool media for you to download--and all for free too!
- Resource Boy Do you want brush packs? Fonts? Overlays? Patterns? Well you're in luck with Resource Boy. They have sooooo much fun stuff here free for download, and it's all very high quality.
